Dubai eVisa for Nigerians — 2026 Complete Guide

What is the Dubai eVisa?

The Dubai eVisa — also called the Dubai Tourist Visa — is an official UAE travel authorisation issued electronically. No embassy visits are required. Once approved, the visa is sent to your email as a PDF. Print it and present it upon arrival at Dubai International Airport.

Nigerian passport holders must obtain a valid Dubai visa before travelling. There is no visa-on-arrival option for Nigerians. The Dubai Tourist eVisa allows tourism, family visits, and short business meetings — not employment.

Dubai eVisa Requirements for Nigerians (2026)

  • Valid international passport — minimum 6 months validity beyond travel dates
  • Passport photograph on a plain white background
  • Confirmed, paid Emirates Airlines flight ticket
  • Confirmed, paid hotel accommodation for full stay
  • 6-month bank statement showing minimum $10,000 monthly closing balance each month
  • Applicant must be 45 years of age or older — Nigerians aged 18–45 travelling alone are currently ineligible
